Sharalee C. Lewis

Ms. Lewis earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois and has 11 years of extensive experience within the mental health field in various roles which include: stabilizing women and children in a domestic violence family shelter through intensive therapy, esteem building, and life change coaching; assisting women and children in a transitional housing setting by utilizing techniques of coping strategies, budgeting and general life skills, and providing individual counseling, group counseling, and case management within a High School Special Education setting.

The challenging and vast experiences that Ms. Lewis has successfully accomplished over the years have resulted in the development of varying effective techniques and supportive approaches. These include: cognitive behavior, dialectic behavioral, humanistic, and Rogerian therapies. Her competency to navigate diverse situations and adjust to various age groups, ethnicities, and genders, have made her a highly effective guide that assists individuals with developing the agility to process, grow and develop amidst the ever-changing world we live in.
